Gershon Ben Keren is a Krav Maga Instructor and a Personal Safety & Security Trainer/Consultant, with a mixed portfolio of clients in a wide variety of industry sectors. He is the Head Instructor at Krav Maga Yashir Boston – a 16 000 sq ft training facility – which trains civilians, law enforcement, private security and military personnel in authentic Krav Maga from Israel.
He is author of “Krav Maga – Real World Solutions to Real World Violence” (Tuttle Press), and the writer/creator of the weekly “Krav Maga Blog” (www.kravmagablog.com). All of his Black Belts and teaching certifications were completed in Israel, and he has trained with some of Israel’s most elite Krav Maga and Military trainers; including Dennis Hanover and Miki Assulin (he is Miki Assulin’s US Representative). In 2010 he was inducted into the First Museum of Israeli Martial Arts in Herzliya, Israel, in recognition of his contribution to the development and promotion of Israeli Martial Arts.
Gershon has a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and combines his and others’ academic research, with his firsthand experiences in the security industry to provide the most relevant and up to date personal safety and self-defense training.
