One of the important concepts of social violence is that it can be categorized also by intensity and magnitude of violence. These videos are examples of low level Monkey Dance based social violence.

In these videos, the participants use violence as a method of communication. The unsaid and culturally understood agreement is that both parties don’t really intend to seriously injure the his or her opponent. And they don’t expect to be seriously injured in return.

The violence is symmetrical because the opponents are more or less equal in mental, physical, and tactical capability. Neither has a major advantage over the other. In these types of dueling conflicts, aggression and the will to win usually are the deciding factor.
