The above videos illustrate violence used as a tool to obtain a resource in these cases purse/wallet/cash. The victim is “dehumanized” by the attacker. The attacker uses surprise and overwhelming force to take what he wants.
In terms of Marc’s Five Stages of Violent Crime, the POSITIONING and ATTACK can clearly be identified.
